The Shack Deer Stew Recipe
Ready made meal for the whole family. Can be made while you are at work. Beef can be subsituted.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. Venison (Deer) Cubed
  • 2 lg. Onions
  • 1 can Golden Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 5 lg Potatoes Cubed
  • 4 Carrots sliced
  • 3 tbs. worshcheshire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 cans of water

Directions
  1. In a large crock pot add 2lb Deer
  2. Chop or slice onion on top of Deer
  3. Add potatoes and carrots
  4. Add the can of Golden Mushroom Soup
  5. Rinse the can with water and add to crock pot two times
  6. add worshcheshire sauce
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours

I was trying to find something that I could do with the front shoulders of the deer. I hate to waste the meat and I get tired of making Jerky out of it. This sounds like a winner! Just one question though, do you soak the deer meat in something before you cook it? Like a milk bath or salt water? Thanks so much in advance for the answer. It is deer season here and I can't wait to try this out!
