How to make it

  • In a large crock pot add 2lb Deer
  • Chop or slice onion on top of Deer
  • Add potatoes and carrots
  • Add the can of Golden Mushroom Soup
  • Rinse the can with water and add to crock pot two times
  • add worshcheshire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cover and cook on high for 6 hours

    I was trying to find something that I could do with the front shoulders of the deer. I hate to waste the meat and I get tired of making Jerky out of it. This sounds like a winner! Just one question though, do you soak the deer meat in something before you cook it? Like a milk bath or salt water? Thanks so much in advance for the answer. It is deer season here and I can't wait to try this out!
