Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tsp gelatine powder
  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 120g (9oz) Mars Bars chopped
  • 500grams cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons powder sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence or 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 cup heavy or thickened cream

Directions
  1. Combine chocolate crumbs and butter and press into bottom and 2 inches up the side of an 8 inch spring form pan. Chill.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over milk in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Add Mars Bars and continue to stir over low heat until mixture is smooth, cool slightly.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Beat in Mars Bars mixture and vanilla. Add cream and beat at high speed for 5 minutes. Pour mixture into prepared crust.
  4. You may sprinkle some chopped Mars small pieces over top.
  5. Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
  6. If desired garnish with additional whipped cream and sliced Mars Bars or your favourite caramel sauce.
