Aunt Ros Coleslaw

- 3 cups shredded cabbage shopping list
- 1 cup shredded carrot shopping list
- 1/4 cup shredded purple onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon fine ground white pepper shopping list
How to make it
- I have no idea who Aunt Ro is but her slaw is exceptional and deserves her name.
- Prepare the vegetables by slicing, shredding or grating very thin.
- Toss the vegetable ingredients to mix well.
- Prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, sour cream, rice vinegar, sugar, celery salt and white pepper.
- Fold the dressing into the tossed vegetables and refrigerate, covered, for at least 2 hours.
- May be made ahead. Toss occasionally to keep the dressing distributed over the vegetables.
