Here's another great ground beef casserole.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can/4oz sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 can / 12 oz whole corn or green peas, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt / pepper to taste
  • 8 oz. medium size noodles (macaroni)
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese, divided

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, add oil, onion, & green pepper.
  2. Sauté until tender.
  3. Add ground beef.
  4. Stir and brown evenly.
  5. Add mushrooms, corn, & soup.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Cook noodles in boiling, salted, oiled, water until barely tender; drain.
  9. Mix noodles, meat, & 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  10. Spoon into a 2 quart casserole dish.
  11. Top with remaining cheese.
  12. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

It says to add the corn, mushrooms and soup. where's the soup? am i missing something? am i having a dizzy day again???
