How to make it

  • Separate the eggs and set the whites aside.
  • Mix the yolks well, gradually adding the cream, milk, and sugar. Whip the egg whites until "soft peaks" form.
  • Fold the whites into the yolk mixture.
  • Gradually add the Rum, Brandy and Whiskey.
  • Let the egg nog stand, uncovered, in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Grate Nutmeg over the top right before serving.

    Im not that big on alcohol but i love my egg nog its one thing my girlfriend dont like but i can still have as much as i want

    We aren't big alcohol drinkers as my hubby is allergic to it, he is however a fanatic about egg nog. I bet he would drink a gallon a day if I let him. I am supposed to buy him a quart EVERY time I am at a store that sells it during the holidays.Would this recipe be good without the alcohol? :o)
