Bloody Mary Caprese Skewers Recipe

This dish is a combination of two recipes. The marinade makes the tomatoes spicy, which pairs well with the smooth mozzarella.

Ingredients
- 12 1/2 inch Cubes of Fresh Mozzarella
- 12 Grape Tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Fresh Basil, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 5 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- Pinch Cayenne Pepper
- Pinch Salt
- 12 toothpicks
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, excluding the Mozzarella.
- Let the tomatoes marinate, preferably overnight, but at least 2 hours.
- Remove excess liquid from tomatoes.
- Place two tomato halves and one mozzarella cube on each toothpick.
