How to make it

  • Pull pastry to 4" square. Cut into circle. Spread preserves to within 1 " of edge.
  • Sprinkle almonds over jeam.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Brush edges of circle with egg mixture.
  • Fold pastry over cheese. Press edges to seal.
  • Place seam side down on baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg mixture
  • bake350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden
