Pumpkin-oatmeal Thumbprint Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

Cookie:

1 C canned pumkin

3/4 C brown sugar

1/2 C apple sauce

2 1/4 C oatmeal

2 1/4 flour

1 t baking soda

1/2 t nutmeg

1/2 t ginger

1 T cinnamon

1/2 t cloves

Frosting (not so healthy!)

1 pkg of cream cheese

1/4 C butter

4 C powdered sugar

1 t vanilla

Directions

Add all ingredients and combine until well mixed

Take a tablespoon and roll into ball, press thumb into ball and set on cookie sheet

bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minute (until brown)

Make frosting

Let cookie cool, then add frosting and the sit until frosting hardens!

Nope. Not in the cookies. They were no-fat/vegan cookies! (then I added the frosting)

Thanks for the recipe...I actually made them and I although alone they tasted healthy (not for everyone) with the frosting they would work for anyone. I must have done something wrong because I had WAY more frosting than cookies...I'm gonna find something else to frost!
