Hawaiian Delight Ice Cream

This is indeed a delight, a lovely taste sensation. I love the whole idea of tropical ice cream. Slightly modified from cuisinartstandmixer.com.
Ingredients
- 1 C whipping cream shopping list
- 2 C half-and-half shopping list
- (OR may reverse amounts for above if you like extra-fluffy ice cream) shopping list
- 14oz sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/8 tsp coconut extract (or less - be careful, it's strong) shopping list
- 1/3 cup macadamia nuts, chopped shopping list
- 8 or more maraschino cherries, drained & thirded shopping list
- 1/3 cup coconut shopping list
- 8oz crushed pineapple, drained shopping list
- 1-1/2 chopped bananas shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 5 ingredients till smooth.
- Pour mixture into ice cream maker and follow manufacturer's instructions.
- Add rest of ingredients while ice cream is still soft enough, maybe in the last 5 minutes,
- or take ice cream out, stir in fruit, coconut, and nuts, and chill in freezer.
- Eat and smile!
