Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

I don't remember where I got this recipe but have used it for a long time. I haven't made these lately so I don't have a picture. They are very tasty.

Ingredients
- 1 C. shortening
- 1 C. brown sugar
- 1/2 C. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 C. all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 to 2 C. chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Cream together shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Cool on wire rack for a couple of minutes.
