Blackberry Crisp

- 2 cups fresh blackberries or frozen blackberries (I used frozen) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons water shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flaked almonds shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup cold butter or margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Place blackberries in a greased 1-qt. baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice until smooth; pour over berries.
- Combine the oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over berries.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees 190c for 20-25 minutes or until filling is bubbly.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
