How to make it
- Wash, drain, and pick over the cranberries and reserve until needed.
- Stir the sugar into the boiling water over medium heat. Stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the cranberries and return to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature; pour into a covered dish and then refrigerate until needed.
