Strawberry Freezer Jam

- For better flavor make from early spring berries shopping list
- 4 cups mashed ripe berries shopping list
- 8 cups of sugar shopping list
- 2 (1.75oz) sure-jell shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups water shopping list
- Makes 6 pints (wash and clean) shopping list

How to make it
- Prepare strawberries by washing and removing the stems.
- Slice and mash with a potatoe masher but leave some pieces.
- Stir sugar into berries and let sit 2-3 hours, stirring every so often.
- In a medium saucepan, mix the water with the sure-jell (whisk) bring to a boil over high heat and boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and pour over berries, stir for 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour into jars or containers leaving 1/2" at the top, cover and leave on counter at room temp. for 24 hours. Freeze
