Slow Cooker Caramelized Onions

This is a great fix it and forget it side for chicken or beef roast. These onions are also good eaten on a sandwich or alone!
Ingredients
- 3 sweet onions, peeled and sliced shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped finely shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- salt, pepper, any other spices or seasoning shopping list
How to make it
- Put the olive oil in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped garlic, sliced onions, and any spices you want.
- Stir well to coat the onions.
- Put the lid on the cooker, set the cooker on LOW and walk away.
- Cook for 3 hours or more, until the onions are to your liking.
