This is from one of my many Amish Cookbooks I have and have no clue which one if I even have it anylonger. This is a great creamy recipe. I am not even a peanut butter fan!

Ingredients
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, sweet
  • 1 Tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 pound smooth peanut butter
  • 4 large marshmallows or 2 1/2 tablespoons of marshmallow whip
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions
  1. Mix in saucepan sugar, milk, butter and vinegar. Boil slowly to soft ball stage. 236 degrees or 6 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, marshmallow and vanilla.
  3. Pour into a 9" square pan. When mixture begins to set, cut into serving pieces. Refrigerate.
