Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large pot pour in 2 cans of tomato soup, save the cans.
  • Use the 2 empty cans to fill with water and add to pot.
  • Add cut potatoes (DO NOT cut too small or they will "disappear" during cooking)
  • Add cut carrots
  • Add can of tomato soup and use can to add water
  • Add cut kielbasa
  • Add ham and cabbage, make sure these are last in the pot, as they take the shortest to cook
  • Add final can of tomato soup and also water. If while resting it looks too thick add water to thin to taste.
  • Optional ingedients may be added between the kielbasa and cabbage
  • Cook over low heat for 4 hours with final hour on medium heat or a medium heat for 2 hours with final 1/2 hour on high heat. All while stirring occasionally.
  • May be served with sliced Italian bread.
