Overnight French Toast Souffle

- 1/2 loaf White toasting bread or enough cubes to fill the dish (cut into 3/4" cubes & place in baking dish) shopping list
- 4 oz. softened cream cheese shopping list
- 4 lg. eggs shopping list
- 1 C milk shopping list
- 1/4 C Cream shopping list
- 1/2 t. vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 C maple syrup shopping list
- 1 t cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 C sugar shopping list
- Dash of salt shopping list
How to make it
- Grease 8x8 baking dish
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, mix till creamy.
- Add remainder of ingredients and mix well.
- Pour liquid over bread cubes. Press down with spatula - Be sure all bread has absorbed liquid.
- Cover. Refrigerate overnight. This freezes well.
- Allow soufflé to return to room temperature. Preheat Oven.
- Bake at 350 degrees until set & golden brown. about 45 minutes
- Place serving on a warm dinner plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Serve with Warm Maple Syrup or Homemade fruit sauce.
