I *love* the sound of these! What is spirulina, and where can I find Sara Snow? Book? Blog?


What is spirulina? This sounds like a healthy snack. Bookmarking now..


I will make this but first you have to tell me what a flax is. Kilby


Mmm - sounds great. (I would probably add more spirulina (1Tbsp) and a teaspoon of tasty blood-sugar stabilizing cinnamon :-)

Alterations


We LOVE these! I made them Friday night, and they're a huge hit. I've been looking all over for a recipe like this, and I can stop looking now. We made them as is, but I didn't have time to go look for the Spirulina--I'll do that soon. We also added a blend of dried cherries, cashews and almonds that we picked up at Trader Joe's. Fabulous! I like pattycake's idea of cinnamon, too, and my husband thought they'd also be tasty with some coconut. They're very versatile! We're going to make some more in a little while to stock up for the coming week. Very easy to make, and they improve everyday, as well. They also firm up very nicely in the fridge. Thanks so much for posting this!
