How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350*
  • In a large bowl, combine all the base ingredients except the marshmallows at low speed till crumbly.
  • Press into the bottom of a greased 9X13 pan.
  • Bake 12-18 minutes till light golden brown.
  • Remve from oven and sprnkle with marshmallows.
  • Return to oven for 1-2 minutes until marshmallows just begin to puff.
  • Cool while making topping.
  • In a large saucepan, heat corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and chips until the chips are melted and mixture is smooth and creamy, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat, stir in nuts and rice cereal.
  • Immediately spoon over marshmallows and spread to cover.
  • Chill, cut into bars.
  • Store covered. Makes 36 bar cookies

    OK..Henrie, you win! The laundry will wait for me...so will the dusting, AND the vaccuuming .... I had to go get a few things and try these.
