Party Potatoes

This is so creamy, everyone in the family asks for this at Christmas.
Ingredients
- My Mom makes this every holiday - they are fabulous!! shopping list
- 1 - 5 pound bag white potatoes peeled and boiled shopping list
- 1 - 8 ounce package cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup melted butter shopping list
- 1 - 8 ounce carton sour cream shopping list
- 1 small grated onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped chives shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/2 pint whipping cream - whipped shopping list
- 6 ounces grated cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1/2 pound bacon crumbled shopping list
How to make it
- Drain potatoes and cream. Mix with cream cheese, butter, sour cream, onion, chives, salt & pepper. Spread in a greased 13 x 9 casserole dish. Ice with whipped cream. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. If not brown, place under broiler until brown. Enjoy!!
