Lombardy Cabbage Soup

- 2 1/2 lbs peeled potatoes shopping list
- 1 large chopped onion shopping list
- 3 Tbsolive oil shopping list
- salt shopping list
- 2 lb approx sliced and roughly shredded cabbage (Lombardy) shopping list
- 3 chopped/sliced carrots shopping list
- 1 chopped/sliced turnip shopping list
- 4 oz macaroni shopping list
How to make it
- Cook the potatoes and onion in water or broth.
- Once they are cooked, puree them with a blender.
- Leave the mixture over the heat and add the cabbage, carrots and turnip.
- Bring to the boil and then leave to simmer.
- Add the pasta and allow to cook.
- Add salt to taste.
