New York Rye Bread

After being unable to find New York style rye bread in England I started to search for a recipe that I would be able to make myself. This recipe tastes exactly like the real thing. When making the recipe decrease or increase ingredients depending on your bread machine model.
Ingredients
- 1 cup 2 tablespoons room temperature water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons caraway seeds shopping list
- 1 cup rye flour shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups bread flour shopping list
- 3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast shopping list
How to make it
- Unless your bread machine has different directions start with the water and continue adding each item with the yeast added last.
- The baking time will depend on your particular bread machine so check the directions.
- This particular version of the recipe will make a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread.
