- 2 eggs, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup oil or melted shortening shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups Yellow Self-Rising corn Meal Mix shopping list
- 1 cup All Purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you like sweet) shopping list
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Pour Vegetable Oil into an iron skillet. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour Batter into greased pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Batter can be baked in muffin cups or cornsticks pan. Lightly brush either pan with vegetable oil or use Cake Release which works great, fill each cup 2/3 full, bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
