How to make it

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • In a seperate bowl, combine buttermilk, butter and eggs; add to dry ingredients and mix well untill blended.
  • Fold in berries.
  • Pour into a greased 13 inx 9 in. 2 in. baking pan.
  • Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter
  • Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  • Uncover and bake at 350* for 45-50 minutes.

    See Michelle, you already HAD the perfect coffeecake for your mom (or was it MIL?)...this sounds (and looks) incredibly good - I love lots of fruit in a coffeecake. I love the picture, too! I REALLY love that you can make it ahead - so perfect for company...

    This sound absolutley Amazing!!!! I have all of the ingredients already!!! Wooooo Hoooo! Oh, wait, I don't have butter milk, I can make that with real milk, and a tsp of vinegar, right?
