I like to make this for overnight guests because you can prepare it the night before and pop it in the oven the next morning! It tastes wonderful!

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries or blueberries
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- In a seperate bowl, combine buttermilk, butter and eggs; add to dry ingredients and mix well untill blended.
- Fold in berries.
- Pour into a greased 13 inx 9 in. 2 in. baking pan.
- Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter
- Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Uncover and bake at 350* for 45-50 minutes.

See Michelle, you already HAD the perfect coffeecake for your mom (or was it MIL?)...this sounds (and looks) incredibly good - I love lots of fruit in a coffeecake. I love the picture, too! I REALLY love that you can make it ahead - so perfect for company...
