Horseradish Mash Recipe
It's hard to have a true Irish meal without a side of some flavor "mash". This one is particulary good with a nice steak.

Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 to 3 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 Cup half and half
  • 1 stick of unsalted Kerrygold butter, in pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 Cup horseradish

Directions
  1. Cook and drain the potatoes
  2. Mash until almost smooth
  3. In a small skillet over medium, melt butter.
  4. Stir the butter into potatoes and add Half and Half and horseradish
  5. Season with salt and pepper
