Kris Kringle Hamburger Soup

- 1 1/2 lb of ground beef (I use x-lean ground) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup coarsely chopped onions shopping list
- 3-4 bouillon cubes shopping list
- 6 cups water shopping list
- 2 cups sliced carrots shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup coarsely chopped celery shopping list
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups barley shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 28 oz can of tomatoes or tomato sauce or pureed tomatoes shopping list
- 1-2 bay leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Brown meat and onions in pan.
- Add mixture and all ingredients in a large pot and simmer for 2 or more hours.
