Cherry Parfaits

This is a favorite dessert my Mom used to make. It takes minutes to make, is very easy, and the combination of cherries, whipped cream and sour cream is out of this world.
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 3 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- Dash of salt shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups cherry pie filling shopping list
How to make it
- Whip the cream with sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Fold in the sour cream.
- Alternate layers of creams with the pie filling.
- Top with single cherry.
- Chill for about 2 hours
- Dessert looks best in glass sundae dishes.
