Fudge-Pecan Chewies

Nice chewy cookie with lots of chocolate flavor.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 60 pecan halves shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate and butter melt. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, flour, and chopped pecans.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Press a pecan half into the center of each cookie.
- Bake for 7 minutes. (Do not over bake.) Remove cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
- Makes about 60
