Chicken Elegante

- 4 ounces dried beef (See Notes) shopping list
- 10 each chicken breasts, cut lengthwise into halves shopping list
- 10 slices bacon shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 cup mushroom soup shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced mushroom shopping list
How to make it
- Soak the dried beef if required.
- Arrange beef slices in the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking dish.
- Wrap each chicken breast half in a slice of bacon.
- Place on dried beef.
- Combine sour cream, mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms, pour over chicken.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Uncover for the last 1/2 hour.

This was very much enjoyed. The chicken is so moist this way. I loved the combination of creamy and the slight saltiness from the beef once soaked and rinsed. I will make this again.... I used a lower sodium bacon.helewes in Newton loved it
