This salad we call "The herring under fur" because you have herring and vegetables. It's very famous russian salad, you can find the plate with "The herring under fur/coat" in every russian family in new year's night. Ingredients
- 1 salted herring (you can use salted fish - like salmon) shopping list
- 1-2 boiled carrot shopping list
- 1 small onion shopping list
- 1/2 apple shopping list
- 1-2 boiled potatoes shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 big boiled beetroot shopping list
- mayonnaise shopping list
How to make it
- Cut salted herring
- put in on the plate
- cut onions
- put on the herring next level
- grate apple
- put on the onion next level
- grate carrots
- put on the apple next level
- grate eggs
- put on the carrot next level
- i use a bit of mayonnaise
- grate potatoes
- put on the eggs next level
- grate beetroot
- put on the potatoes next level
- cover it of mayonnaise
- leave for 3-4 hours
