Hearty healthy Prune Nut Breakfast Bread

- 2 cups buttermilk shopping list
- 1/2 cup dark molasses (I use Grandma's) shopping list
- 2 cups cooked, mashed prunes shopping list
- 2 cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups white flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon soda shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup corn meal shopping list
- 1 cup nuts, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl, with wooden spoon, mix buttermilk, molasses, prunes
- In another bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients
- Divide and place in two greased loaf pans
- Let stand for 15 minutes
- Bake at 350 or 375 for 1 hour
- Remove from pans, cool
- Slice, when ready to serve
