How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Mix flour, salt and pecans. Cream butter and sugar till fluffy, add vanilla and beat again.
  • Gradually, add flour mixture to butter mixture till dough forms. Shape into marbles. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes till golden. Remove and place on a wire rack till cooled. Dust with powdered sugar followed by cinnamon.

    Love the flavor of cinnamon added to these cookies. Very much like what my mom used to make, except for the cinnamon. And now that cinnamon has been proven good for blood pressure, this makes this an even more delectable treat. Thanks for the terrific post. Must make these soon for the cookie swap.
