Add Step-by-Step Photos

This is an easy turkey burger that is full of flavors. Slather on some wasabi mayo and you've got a kicked up burger :O) Although the picture shows a bun-less burger, that's because I'm on a low-carb diet. But it still taste scrumptious!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground turkey meat ( i use the regular turkey meat since it has some fat, which is the trick to keeping it juicy)
  • 1/2 red onion diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper seeded & diced
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 2-3 tsp. five spice
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • salt & pepper (season according to taste)
  • 3 tbsp. mayo
  • 1 tsp. wasabi paste

Directions
  1. Put everything in a big bowl and mix well with your hands. Form the meat into patties
  2. Heat oil in skillet on medium high and fried them suckers up! It should take about 7-10 min. depending on the size of your patties.
  3. I like to slather my buns/bread with butter and toast them until golden brown.
  4. The Dressing is fairly easy. Just put the mayo and wasabi paste together and mix well! You don’t want chunks of wasabi paste up your nose!
