Tried and true. If you like spam this is a very good sandwich. Enjoy. This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Jarvis Estate in Frisco, Texas in 2007.

Ingredients
  • 1 can Spam luncheon meat cut into 12 slices
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 slices white bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Soft spread strawberry -cream cheese

Directions
  1. Layer spam and cheese on 6 bread slices and top with remaining bread slices.
  2. In shallow bowl beat eggs and milk then dip both sides of sandwich in egg mixture.
  3. In griddle or skillet, grill sandwiches in butter over medium heat until browned and cheese is melted turning once.
  4. Serve with strawberry cream cheese.
