Steamed Blueberry Dumplings

- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- Blueberry sauce: shopping list
- 21 ounce can blueberry pie filling shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
How to make it
- Mix pie filling, water and 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan then boil 5 minutes.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar then cut in butter.
- Add vanilla to milk and mix with flour mixture just enough to moisten all dry ingredients.
- Drop dumplings by teaspoonful onto the hot sauce.
- Boil uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Cover and steam gently for 35 minutes or until dumplings are no longer moist on top.
- Serve warm with sauce.

oh this is perfect for me and starting may 2nd the pick your own blueberry bushes will be mine for the picking and this is perfect for it . i will just add a little fresh lemon zest and some cinnamon into the dumpling thanks i like it...
