Ingredients
  • The following recipe is from Alison Kent and The Canadian Living Test Kitchen:
  • 1-1/2 oz (40 ml) apple juice
  • 1-1/2 oz (40 ml) vodka
  • 1 oz (30 ml) sour apple schnapps or apple shnapps
  • Garnish:
  • 1 thin half-round slice Granny Smith apple
  • 1 ugly coloured gummi worm
  • Note: It is suggested for best flavour and colour, choose a sour apple liqueur (such as Sour Puss Sour Apple). If using a sweet schnapps (such as Berentzen Apflenkorn), add 1 Tbsp. (15ml) lime juice.

Directions
  1. Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add apple juice, vodka and schnapps; shake vigorously to blend and chill. Strain into prepared glass.
  2. Garnish:
  3. With straw, poke a hole in the apple.
  4. Thread gummi worm through hole.
  5. Cut slit through apple and place it on the rim of a cocktail glass.
