Sargeant Topguns Doggie Liver Treats Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • In blender or food processor mix liver and garlic until liquid.
  • Add muffin mix and wheat germ and mix well.
  • Dump onto a cookie sheet (I cover the sheet with aluminum foil) and pat to 1/2" to 1" thickness.
  • Bake in 350 oven until very firm but not burned.
  • Cool and cut into squares. (Fend off eager dog who is dancing around the kitchen in joy!)
  • Store in refrigerator.
  • May be frozen.
  • In the recipe photographed I used 1.25 lb chicken livers and two boxes of Jiffy corn mix.

    im making this for all my dogs i take cara of! sounds easy,good and healthy! I love your pincher! Took care of one named Eden-she slept underthe blankets by my feet,even in 90 % weather!! My grand-dog Edward- will love these also! He is a rescued sheltie,elk hound mix-my baby!!Barb

    Your little pincher is so adorable, I had one for a day who came and visited me while one summer I was cleaning up the house on a summer day and had the door open, well in came this cute little Pincher. I shut the door because I wanted to play with him awhile - I know bad, but he kept looking out the window it was so sad, so we went out looking for his parents and i found out they were at work and so I got him for the rest of the day until they came home. They are the sweetest dogs.

    Hm ... when I saw the recipe it was all HTML code so when I saw the line about the recipe looking good, I naturally said nope! So that's why the one down rating! Oh well, this is beta ... guess there is no way to change evaluations. Beginner oops.
