This drink has become very popular recently. The mojito is a cuban delight. It's extremely refreshing and low calorie... perfect for those hot Havannah nights.. tehee
Ingredients
- Bottle of Barcardi Límon shopping list
- 1 Bundle fresh mint shopping list
- 5 limes shopping list
- sugar shopping list
- club soda shopping list
- ice shopping list
How to make it
- First a comment: the directions below are for 1 mojito. as we all know when making drinks like the mojito, you always make more than one. The ingredients above will yield at least 8 drinks.
- Slice limes in half lengthwise, then cut them lengthwise at angles so that you have wedges.
- Add 2 tablespoons of Sugar to an 8/10 oz. glass
- Add about 6 mint leaves
- Add 3-4 lime wedges
- Take a muddle (or a wooden spoon works too) and smash the ingredients making sure to push the juice and pulp out of the lime really well.
- Add Barcardi to your desired strength – about an inch and a half with an 8/10 oz glass
- Stir mixture well
- Add ice (2-3 cubes)
- Top off with soda.
- Garnish with mint leave or lime if desired.
