Shrimp Fettucini

- 1 lb. shrimp (peeled and cleaned) shopping list
- ½ c. butter shopping list
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccini shopping list
- ¼ c. brandy shopping list
- 2 tomatoes (chopped) shopping list
- ½ c. fresh basil (chopped) shopping list
- ¼ c. olive oil shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic (diced) shopping list
- ½ c. dry white wine shopping list
- 2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. pepper shopping list
- ½ c. parmesan cheese (grated) shopping list
- 6 green onions (chopped) shopping list
How to make it
- In a large pot, bring water to boil and add salt (if desired).
- Place pasta in the boiling water and cook for approximately 8 to 10 mins or until “al dente” and then drain.
- Add olive oil to a large skillet over med. heat and then saute shrimp until pink.
- Next add in the green onions, garlic and brandy.
- Carefully light brandy with a match and let it cook for 2 mins.
- Then add tomatoes and sauté for 2 mins.
- Stir in wine, butter, basil, salt and pepper and let it finish cooking for 3 mins.
- Finally, stir in parmesan cheese and toss with pasta until evenly distributed. Enjoy!
