How to make it

  • The order of the ingredients depends on your bread machine.
  • Most machines start with the water and then the yeast is on the top.
  • Water should be room temperature.
  • Use white bread setting.
  • Depending on your particular bread machine model this can take from 2-3 hours for baking.
  • This particular recipe is for a 1 1/2 pound loaf of bread so adjust accordingly.
  • After bread is done, if not eating it right away, cool completely before wrapping it up.

    Made this yesterday morning - absolutely delicious! Even with regular flour (I was out of bread flour and too lazy to go get some), it had a lovely crust (not too thin, not too thick), and gorgeous, chewy texture. This is *definitely* a keeper - thanks!
