How to make it

  • Instructions
  • melt butter in a medium sauce pan.
  • add minced garlic, beer, cajun seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  • mix ingredients together and increase heat stirring often
  • let beer reduce by 2/3 (still a liquid, but very dark and rich)
  • add brown sugar and let in reduce to liquid. stir often. (don't heat very long after this step, brown sugar will start to solidify)
  • remove from heat and cool just slightly.
  • pour over your favorite steak, shrimp, crab legs, etc...
  • ***if you let it cool completely, it will solidify, but simply melt and use again.
