THIS IS A GREAT MARINADE FOR YOUR BEEF, OR JUST ABOUT ANY SHELLFISH! I MADE THIS UP ONE DAY BY ACCIDENT!

Ingredients
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3/4 bottle of Shiner Bock
  • 2-3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1tbsp. cajun seasoning
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. Instructions
  2. melt butter in a medium sauce pan.
  3. add minced garlic, beer, cajun seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  4. mix ingredients together and increase heat stirring often
  5. let beer reduce by 2/3 (still a liquid, but very dark and rich)
  6. add brown sugar and let in reduce to liquid. stir often. (don't heat very long after this step, brown sugar will start to solidify)
  7. remove from heat and cool just slightly.
  8. pour over your favorite steak, shrimp, crab legs, etc...
  9. ***if you let it cool completely, it will solidify, but simply melt and use again.
