I adapted this from Taste of Home. My son now asks for soup instead of pizza night. Score 1 for mom! You can add any thing you would have on pizza, this is a great base.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground lean beef or sausage
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2-10 ounce cans of pizza sauce
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 T italian seasonings
  • 8oz jar sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups non fat cheddar cheese/mozzerla cheese

Directions
  1. Brown meat.
  2. Add meat, sauces, water and seasonings to stock pan.
  3. Bring to a boil
  4. Add cheese and mushrooms, reduce to simmer for 10-15mins.
