Quick Fix Cheddar Chicken Soup

- 1 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 1 small onion peeled and chopped shopping list
- 1 stick of butter shopping list
- 3 -10 oz cans of cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 2 cups of precooked chicken shred (either leftover chicken or the Tyson precooked chicken strips..even canned chicken will work just fine) shopping list
- 3 cups of water shopping list
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup of milk shopping list
- 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan saute celery and onion in the butter until tender.
- Add in the shred chicken, soup, water and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir together and add in the milk and the cheddar cheese.
- Depending on how thick you like your soup to be you may choose to add a bit more water OR a tad bit more milk (for an even creamier consistency).
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
