Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large saucepan, combine the potatoes, 1 tsp salt, and enough cold water to cover.
  • Bring to a boil over high heat
  • lower the heat to maintain a simmer and cook until fork tender, about 10 minutes
  • Drain the potatoes and return to the pan
  • Mash the potatoes and stir in the milk and buttermilk and dill
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve

    Perfect combo - buttermilk and dill. I use that combo in my quiches a lot. Also, you can toss in a bit of chunky blue cheese dressing (I like Ken's the best) for a treat but I don't know how that would go with your mashed potatoes. Thanks for being a buddy!
