Ingredients

How to make it

  • Steam the mussels in a covered pot with some water until they open.
  • Pour some olive oil in a pan and fry the shrimps and prawns for a maximum of 3-4 minutes. Leave aside.
  • Add some more olive oil to the pan.Smash the garlics together with the cayenne and some salt and add to the pan. Add the sauce of the tomatoes. Stir with a wooden spoon.
  • After 5 minutes stirring add the fish to the pan and cook for 12 minutes (6 per side). Leave the fish aside.
  • Keep on cooking until the tomatoes’ sauce gets the sofrito texture (see my paella recipe).
  • Add the fish soup (you will find a recipe of the fish soup in my black rice and paella’s recipes).
  • Make it boil and add the noodles and the saffron. Add some salt.
  • Add the clams and cook for 5 minutes at high fire.
  • Add the fish, the shrimps and prawns and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Put it in the oven at 210ºC for another 5 minutes so that it gets dry and golden.
  • Take it out of the oven. Let it rest covered for another 5 minutes and decorate with the mussels.

So glad you want to try it!!! Noodles turn out really tasty! It's nearly as wellknown as paella, and as kukla say, a bit easier. If you encounter any problems I'll be glad to help!

....and this sounds wonderful also!! Much easier than the paella, but still full of flavours!! I've never heard of using noodles (instead of rice) -- but I look forward to trying this! Thank you for posting the recipes, ILoveRice :)
