Russian Hot Pot

- 2 cups water shopping list
- 2 beef boullions cubes shopping list
- 1 pound new red potatoes shopping list
- 1 pound green cabbage shopping list
- 1 medium onion shopping list
- 1 16oz. can of whole tomatoes, drained shopping list
- 1.5 pounds of low fat ground beef shopping list
How to make it
- Place water and boullion in a 4 quart dutch oven and bring to a boil. While waiting to boil, scrub potatoes, leaving peels on, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes(about 3.5 cups):add to pot. Cut cabbage into 1/2 inch chunks(about 6 cups). Cut peeled onion into chunks, add to pot. Break up tomatoes into pot and crumble RAW beef into pot, mix well. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with crusty bread and butter.
