Orange Breakfast Ring Recipe
For years I have made this breakfast ring Christmas morning before anyone is awake. It is then ready to enjoy for Christmas brunch after all the gifts have been opened. Deanna Naivar

Ingredients
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 12 oz cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/3 c melted margarine
  • 3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp orange juice

Directions
  1. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Separate biscuits; dip each in melted margarine, and coat with sugar mixture.
  3. Stand biscuits on side, overlapping edges, in tube or bundt pan. Bake in preheated 350ยบ oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove ring from oven, and invert on serving platter.
  4. Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Add orange juice, stirring well; spoon mixture over top while ring is hot.
  5. Serve warm. Makes 1 10" ring.
