Debs Red Hot Chili

Ingredients
- 3 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 lg onion, chopped. shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped. shopping list
- 1 lg can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 lg can tomato Juice. shopping list
- 3 cans [14.5 oz] red kidney beans, drained. shopping list
- 2 cans [14.5 oz] seasoned chili beans shopping list
- 1 small can green chilis shopping list
- 1 pkg HOT McCormick's chili seasoning shopping list
- 1 pkg REG Mccormick's chili seasoning shopping list
- 1 can [12 oz] dark beer. shopping list
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated. shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onions and garlic until lightly browned and translucent.
- Brown beef in skillet, drain and put in large pot with onion and garlic.
- Stir in all the other ingredients except beer and cheese.
- Add 1/2 can of beer.
- Simmer a couple of hours until beans are tender while drinking the other half of the beer.
- Serve with a sprinkle of grated cheese.
