Ingredients
  • 12 prawns shelled
  • 1 medium sized lime, juiced
  • 1 pepper jalapeno pepper chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic fresh chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
  • 2 shots cabo wabo tequila
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Marinate shrimp in remaining ingredients for about 20 minutes. Grill until done.
  2. If cooked in a wok or skillet add some of the marinade at the last minute to deglaze the pan.

YEAH...Shouldn't the cook have a shot of tequila?? C'mon...you missed the most important step, gives you a whole new perspective when you're lickered up a bit!!


My kind of recipe - I'm afraid I might not be able to have cabo wabo on hand...it tends to disappear quickly during the summer - warm nights = frozen margaritas!!


Planning on trying your drunken shrimp recipe for tonight. Will let you know how it turns out.
