How to make it

  • Cream butter, peanut butter add sugars and beat until mixed. Add eggs and beat until creamy. Add corn syrup, baking soda and vanilla and beat until mixed. Stir in oatmeal and add M&M's. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

    I reviewed several recipes and chose this one and I am glad I did. I baked them in my convection oven, three racks at a time, for 12 minutes, at 300 degrees. They were perfect. I added butterscotch chips to half the recipe and white choc chips to the other half. We like both additions,but the butterscotch chips give the cookies a new flavor!! Great!!

    We made these last week and they are PERFECT! Well, I should say we made the dough last week--we're STILL making the cookies! LOL This recipe makes a four liter pyrex bowl, my biggest bowl and it just barely all fit in there. This recipe is just like I remembered it as a kid, and I will make it again in oh, say a YEAR! LOL After eating dozens of these I don't think I'll get the craving for them again soon. This would be an awesome recipe for gift giving though--I'm going to steal that idea for Christmas next year. Thanks again for a fantastic recipe!

    Ooo, you're killing me! I haven't had a monster cookie since I was a kid, they were my best friends mom's specialty! I'm off to the grocery to buy some M&M's and we're going to make these tonight! Thank you so much for the memory flash, these were my FAVORITE as a kid! :heart:

    These are really good, I make them alot, I use a Ice Cream scoop to get mine all the same size. Great post.
